Bill Muir- President/CEO

Bill Muir began his career working in photofinishing in Traverse City in the late 70’s. After many years managing the photofinishing plant, he moved on to other business ventures, until the early 2000’s, when he opened Compass Communications Group (CCG) with the other founding members. In addition to being the CEO, Bill also manages the shipping and receiving department because he cares deeply about the safety and punctuality of all the equipment we send out. When you order from Compass, you can see Bill’s work in every package you receive.

 

Robin Rosier- Sales/Account Manager

Robin Rosier has worked in sales for most of her life, across vastly different industries.  She is passionately committed to making sure that our customers get the best solution for their community.  After working in telecommunications and data sales for many years throughout Michigan, Robin was one of the founding members of Compass Communications Group in 2003.  She saw a need for high quality, financially affordable wireless nurse call systems; Compass grew out of that idea.  Robin manages the day to day business of CCG, as well as spearheading corporate relations with our larger customers.  Robin loves animals; she has three cats, and her trusty canine companions Agnes or Charlotte, who is usually under her desk – or co-pilots on most sales calls.

 

Kevin Hooper- General Manager

Kevin Hooper is the technical brains behind Compass Communications Group.  A native of Traverse City, he lived and worked California installing corporate phone systems, before moving back to TC to be a chef in his own restaurant.  After getting back into telecommunications sales, he was one of the founding members of Compass in 2003.  Kevin manages the technical staff at Compass, and runs installations for all new systems.  Another animal lover, Kevin has always had big dogs, and his two Newfoundland’s Ozzy and Bear are no exception, both tipping the scale at close to two hundred pounds.  When you have a technical question about nurse call systems, Kevin will likely have the answers.

 

Tara Burt – Customer Support

Tara Burt has been in charge of customer support at Compass since we opened in 2003.  After working with Robin and Kevin at a previous job, she was one of the founding members of Compass.  Always ready to smile and laugh with customers on the phone, Tara keeps all our existing customers happy and running smoothly.  Any time you have a problem, just give Tara a call and she can take care of any issues with your nurse call system.  She lives with her husband and three children, two dogs, several chickens, geese and guinea hens just south of Traverse City.  She enjoys skiing, DIY home improvement, and attending her kids sporting events.  Any time you need anything, make Tara your first call.

 

Technical Staff

At Compass Communications Group, our technicians are top notch.  With over 25 years of combined experience at Compass, they truly are the best.  We make sure all technicians are always respectful whenever in a customer community, because we understand that we are in residents homes.  When we install your new system, our technicians will work hard to get your equipment installed quickly and effectively, so your residents can have a seamless transition to the new nurse call system.
